say "peanut"!

To my amazement this squirrel just stood there looking at me with my camera.

If you love squirrels as much as I do you might enjoy this wonderful adventure that Ratty The Everyday Adventurer posted earlier this week.

Hello Squirrel, I was just reading your profile. Fun to see the diverse mix of your passions in life. I was also sorry to see the skin cancer. How are you doing with that? My wish and prayer is that your treatment works and you move through this with grace and health.

Your little squirrel is wonderful.

That is an excellent photo if this little fox squirrel. I really like when they have such happy and content looks on their faces. And thanks for the mention, I always love those. :)

Aw, he is a cutie. Sometimes they do like to pose for the camera, I think they like being blog stars. Great shot.

What an excellent photo. Did it get its peanuts?

The squirrel is sitting on one of my feeders. Sometimes the feed has peanuts mixed in but I'm not sure if it did on this particular day. Although I use to feed squirrels from my hand when I was a youngster I don't have any of them currently trained to do so.

The "say peanut!" reference I used was my attempt of portraying the phrase "say cheese!" in a squirrelly way.
